Central Library

The Central Library of GEC Baran is a well-stocked knowledge hub that supports the academic and research needs of students and faculty across all four engineering departments.

• 15,000+ textbooks and reference books
• 500+ national and international journals (print & digital)
• NPTEL video lecture access
• DELNET inter-library loan membership
• INFLIBNET N-LIST subscription for e-journals
• Previous year examination papers (all RTU branches)

Digital Resources

Students can access IEEE Xplore, Springer, and Elsevier research papers through the college network. The library is also equipped with 20 computer terminals with high-speed internet access exclusively for research purposes.

Timings

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (during exam periods only)

Rules

• Maintain silence inside the library at all times
• Mobile phones must be switched to silent mode
• Books must be returned within 14 days; a fine of ₹2/day applies for late returns
• Students can borrow up to 3 books at a time
