A team of four final-year CSE students from GECB clinched the first prize at the 36-hour National Hackathon hosted by IIT Jodhpur.
In a proud moment for Government Engineering College Baran, a team of four final-year Computer Science students won the first prize at CodeStorm 2026 – a national-level 36-hour hackathon hosted by IIT Jodhpur.
The team – Arjun Singh, Priya Sharma, Rohit Yadav, and Divya Meena – developed an AI-powered crop disease detection application using computer vision and deployed it as a mobile app for farmers.

The team took home a cash prize of ₹50,000 and pre-placement offers from two participating companies.
