Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering at GEC Baran provides a comprehensive four-year B.Tech programme covering the design, construction, and maintenance of built infrastructure including roads, buildings, bridges, dams, and water supply systems.

Civil engineering is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines, encompassing structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, and water resources engineering. Our department equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through well-equipped laboratories and fieldwork.
